Hence the formula I used is: ="Or "&DATEDIF(B4,C51,"Y")&" Years, "&DATEDIF(B4,C51,"YM")&" Months, "&DATEDIF(B4,C51,"MD")&" Days" that formula gives me all the correct days but I need to be able to subtract 118 days from the 377 total days and tell me how many months, yrs, days it is. The 1 year 8 months and 30 days are all the days calculated in the days column, based on the start/end date. The project then picks up again on 9/5/22. From that point of 5/10/22 till 9/4/22 the project is on hold (118 days as shown in the screenshot/mentioned in the original post). This is a project that I needed to track the dates it was worked on, in that first snippet of start/end dates, I have a few days from 2021 then it starts calculating again on 2/2/22, up to 5/10/22. Maybe this will better explain everything. I don't know how well you will be able to see it though. I have attached another screenshot of all of the dates up until 2/11/23 including the 2nd screenshot. The start date is correct and the end date, for right now is 2/11/23. Peterw2300 the screenshot with the start/end dates is just a snippet of the full long list of start/end. If anyone has any ideas on how I can do this that would be greatly appreciated. This screenshot below shows all the days total from start to end, then it lists the days on hold which is what I need to subtract from the total formula (so it wouldn't end up being 1 yr 8 months, 30 days if I subtracted the 118 days). I tried numerous ways in the formula below, to try and subtract the days at the end but it doesn't work. The formula to calculate the total amount of time between the start and end date that I use is: My end game is to figure out how to subtract a certain number within the start and end dates of the total. I have the total amount of time between the start and end date caclulated in yrs, months, and days and reflected in the first screenshot. I have a group of dates from 2021 to 2023 in the picture below (it doesn't show all the dates just enough to give an idea). Please see the screenshots and info below to better explain what I am trying to accomplish. Hello everyone, I am looking to subtract a number from a formula that already has the total calculated.
